Parents and Students:
Well, it has been a tumultuous beginning, but things are starting to settle into a routine. Thank you everyone for being flexible through the turbulence of the last three weeks.
Just a few announcements:
1. Dave will be out this week, 8/29-9/1, for his mother's funeral. Our deepest sympathies are with him and his family during this difficult time. We will be rescheduling his students with Steve, Phil, and me. You can log into Teachworks or email us directly.
2. We will be closed Monday, Sept 5, for Labor Day. If you would like to schedule a session later that week, let us know.
3. For all the seniors: the UC application is open now, and the CSU application opens Oct 1st. The filing window is 10/1-11/30. Check the private schools in the Common App because each has their own deadlines. Start pulling together your transcript, extracurriculars, and sports. If you would like help with your personal statements, email me asap so we can set up a time to meet.
I hope this year will be full of life, laughter, and love. Learning happens in many ways, and each moment can teach us. Be open to the experience and learn from every step of the journey.
